Frequently Asked Questions
Class FAQ's
What age does my dog need to be to join?
Adult Life Skills classes are open to dogs 12 months and over.
Is my dog too old to join the class?
It’s never too late to start playing games with your dog! As long as they’re healthy enough to attend classes they can join in.
What are mixed ability classes?
Our life skills classes are mixed ability classes, meaning that we have dogs of all different ages and skill levels learning together.
It can be hugely beneficial for newcomers to see how the games are played by a more experienced dog and handler team. Plus it doesn’t matter if your dog is at different levels within each skill set, the games will always be adapted to how your dog is doing on the day.
Your dog is great at coming back when called but awful at staying on their bed? No problem! When we play games surrounding recall success we can add in more difficulty. When we play boundary games we can go back to basics.
